RPI #5 Cal State Fullerton just fell behind 3-2 to RPI #120 UC Santa Barbara at home. If they manage to actually lose this one, it is going to totally destroy their RPI. Their SOS already sucks -- and losing this one takes them out of national seed contention for now IMO...and they really don't have any redemption games left for the season...

It's going to be interesting to see how the committee does it this year because of the unbalanced SEC schedule. Uncharted waters for all of us.

Agreed.
The "fair" way to do it is to lean even more on RPI, ISR, and the overall body of work. The SEC standings are a bullshit metric at this point IMO -- unless you are using head to head scenarios for tiebreaker situations in determining host sites...

I say we just take care of business by winning our remaining series and we'll get to host a regional. If we keep graveman on top of his game and a healthy lindgren with holder and Ross pitching in big spots, we can win the rest of our series.
