I started posting on SPS sometime around 2006. I started arguing with C34 about MSU sports about 3 hours later. Un ban him please. It's not right to be posting on this site without him. C34 built this site to be as popular as it is with his trolling and poking of Ole Miss and with his trolling and stoking MSU threads here. We all are roaming and enjoying a popular site right now that generates a ton of traffic thanks to him. He might rub people the wrong way at times but the man built this monster. Not one other poster comes close to generating the traffic on this site that he did. That goes for every single poster on here. Scooba, Behr, I Seen It, un ban Coach34 please. Who gives a **** about some stupid ass coffee and deleting/changing passwords for a day. He's served his punishment. Put one thread up and let everyone coffee roast him for one day and then let's get back to how this site is supposed to be. Thanks.

Oh and names like Foambat and Checkdown Charlie also fuel threads. Foambat is a hilarious nickname. I would not be embarrassed of that nickname if I was leading the team in homeruns. I'd be embarrassed my team sucks foamdicks instead.

It's on you to figure out how to get along with C34. I can do it. I've done it for a long time and I doubt many if any other posters have argued more with him than I have. You and I haven't always seen eye to eye either but we get along just fine. Do that with him.

I wasn't really making a statement on C34. I don't really have much of a personal issue with him, he's been nastier to me than I have to him.

Exactly. We come to this site to have intelligent conversations about MSU sports. Having 100 comment long threads about C34 calling Big T "not a difference maker", or hundred comment long threads being deleted because C34 is prideful, does not help us discuss MSU sports intelligently. Hell, he actually bans people for offending him... If this was a country, he'd be called a dictator.

Saying "C34 built this place, how can we get rid of him?" is like those FSU fans that didn't want Bowden fired because he practically built FSU. However, as the game had passed Bowden up, so this board has passed C34 up. History does not excuse current reality.

And as for the "He's good for traffic!" Reason to keep him, there's many ways we could increase traffic. Stop banning OM trolls and let them stir the pot. Post porn and become a porn site. We'd never do these things... Why? Because even though they generate traffic, they take away from discussions about State, which is what we are here for.

I don't care if he comes back as a normal poster. His dumb comments aren't ban worthy to me, and some are good info. However, I think he should have 0 power to ban, edit, delete, etc as he's proven he WILL abuse those powers for his ego. And that's what he cares about most, else he wouldn't ban productive State fan posters for challenging him.

Maybe if you like drama for drama's sake, but they had nothing to do with State and didn't help anyone. There's lot of topics that are interesting that we don't let on this board. Plus, it's not really 'fun' anymore when you get hit with a 1 week ban for offending him. His contributions are countered by his restricting the contributions of others.

Mods are basically the police of the board. You wouldn't want a thin skinned cop that arrests you with made up charges if you offend him, would you? That's why he should be 100% stripped of his mod powers if allowed back.

I love this post. Bigger isn't always better. I come to this site over others for exactly the reason that it is MSU sports only on the main board with little exception. Once a thread gets over a few pages, I'm out anyway. 34 has made great posts over the years. Whether he's banned or not is up to someone else, but like this poster said, if it's about the clicks, then it's the wrong reason.
