This NIT run is going to pay dividends next year..

We can't put a price on how valuable this years NIT will be for next years team.
Last night's win was huge for our team. We got the big lead and finally learned how to close out a good team on the road.

Remember when MSU couldn't beat anyone on the road. We are starting to learn how to win. We are attacking the zone. We are taking better shots after better ball movement.

I think we should rent out Madison Square Garden for Midnight Madness and throw a Miss State owns NYC party. Maybe we can get 50 cent and Conor McGregor to throw a verbal warfare at each other to lead up to the event. Let's go global with our basketball team winning the NIT. If we win of course.

I am so proud of this team. This is the most improvement I?ve seen out of a team in a long time. I think next year the sky is the limit and this nit run is going to help big time.
as long as we don?t have mass transfers we can make some noise next year.

I look at the NCAA Tourney as like making the CFB Playoff or the College World Series . You at least have a chance.

I look at the NIT as like all the other bowl games.Glad to be in one and hope to do well.

Everyone who objectively looks at it knows that the Final 4 teams in the NIT are as at least as good as most NCAA teams.

So like a bowl, use it to your advantage. No matter what anybody says, playing in the NIT, especially with a young team, beats the hell out of sitting at home.
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times
