This is the TRUEST damn thing written on this board in a while. #typicalMSU

Some will have you believe it's Cann's fault. Sure, he didn't develop shit
from last year and we know why but even said he didn't inherit shit from Cohen. If it wasn't for Rooker and Gridley last year we would've been horrible. Rooker absolutely carried that team on his back the first half of the year.

Self, price, pilk, and Cody Brown were really good too. Jake hit .324. Vansau hit .297. Stovall was better last season.

Didn't Cohen leave him Rooker and Gridley? And Cody Brown?
I blame Cohen for recruiting too many JUCO's and the fact that we have to start so many freshmen because he couldn't balance the classes out or identify who would go pro as well as we needed him to.

A lot of that is because of who they had hitting around them in the lineup. Mangum and Stovall didn't have to carry the team because their job was to get on base and let Rooker drive them in. Cody Brown was a good leader who was a fifth year senior which is something this team sorely lacks. Gridley was good too obviously. Vansau was a role player and now we're asking him to hit clean up. We had more roster flexibility with Brown and Mangum to where we could mix and match Vansau and MacNamee better. Lovelady wasn't a great hitter but he was a good leader.

Agree on the Juco's. Don't we have a JC 1st baseman (Penner) who hasn't hardly

I wholeheartedly agree on the Juco's. Prime example is Penner. He's a backup
first baseman that has hardly touched the field this year, if at all. That's a huge miss at a critical position that requires a good stick with some pop.

We evened things up with Vanderbilt though ... women's tennis won 4-0.

One thing I will say about our team...they must be hung like a horse because they sure are managing to step on their dick an awful lot.
