Basically, he hasn't been at any one spot long enough for a league to adjust to him. They want to see how he adjusts to the adjustment.

But why not keep him in big league camp so he continues to see big league pitchers? He could have easily been sent down in a week and a half to accomplish the same result control wise

No idea. Probably just so the fanbase accepts him starting in AAA now. A bunch of brave fans are wanting acuna opening day

If Viz loses the job, it will for sure go to Minter and he will easily get 25 saves. I don't think Viz is likely to lose it though. Between Sam Freeman (rhp right?) and Ramirez, and a lack of another good lefty, it makes too much sense to use Minter as the lefty killer in the 7th or 8th.

Well, Freeman is a lefty. So raise those odds from 10% to 25%. But Brothers sucks, so if it were me I'd still prefer to use Minter more against lefties as the situation dictates, easing him in to the pros.

Plus I think Viz is a FA after this year, so he's a trade candidate at any time.
