Would rather have acuna 4 and Markakis 5. Snit is doing this in order to have 3 fast table setters in front of FF. Maybe we should try acuna 3 and FF 4 for a bit.

I may not like that style of line up but if it produces then I'm al for it. Although one good game doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Also, THAT is when a double switch it a wise move. Now if freeman doesn't come out to start the 8th then I'll change my opinion.

My boy, Swanson needs to get it together. Too many swing and misses lately. He has a hit in 9 of last 12 games, so not ice cold... the strike outs are not good though. Glad tomorrow is an off day

He'll be fine. He'll be hot again Tuesday.

He is trying too hard to match Acuna and Albies power hitting. In the earlier games he was getting up there and looking to hit for average now he trying to jack it every AB/.

No hit, but good AB by Swanson. Worked a count and hit it well to left center

Funny to see biddle apologize to Suzuki for missing knapp twice. And it was a wise move to not go ahead and hit him after missing him like that. No reason to mess up the mojo with a brawl and suspensions.

I agree. Inciarte is leading MLB in stolen bases with 13 and he's a good hitter. I like him at leadoff, then Albies, then Acuna, then Freddie, then Markakis.

Current fWAR and pace to finish...
    Albies 1.4 (8.4)
    Acuna 0.5 (14)
    FF 1.4 (8.4)
    Markakis 0.7 (4.2)
    Suzuki 0.7 (2.6 figured at 81 games)
    Ender 0.3 (1.8)
    Swanson 0.7 (4.3)

As great as this season has been so far, I think the paces show we are due some major regression. I think ender's pace goes up, but everyone else's slows considerably

Acuna is on pace for 14? Obvious SSS, but that's awesome.

Those numbers for Suzuki line up with what he did last year, and I don't know that either Dansby or Freeman are in line for too much regression.

Albies will come down some, and obviously Acuna won't continue to OPS at 1.300. But I don't know that these numbers are too out of whack. Our offense will come down, though, we won't score the 2nd most runs in the league. Hopefully our pitching improves slightly to offset some of that.

You know I love dansby, but I don't see 4 fWAR. I said 2.5-3.0 before season... I'm gonna stick with that.

Suzuki apparently has become a very good player somehow. Really like watching him play.

3b will probably tell the tale. We have been extremely fortunate there so far. I'm afraid we are gonna take a big time there with RF and Bautista. I think Camargo could be an actual asset at 2.0 fWAR or so, but doubt he gets a shot

Y'all think Snitker will change the lineup tomorrow night?
