with the bromance being shown by MSU fans. Guess I'd be alright with it. Maybe he left Oxford with bad feelings. Let's do it. Can we hire another assistant without one having to leave?

Didn't know we had an opening either. If we did, I would be ok with it. Andy is a good coach.....just not a great coach IMO. He is a colorful character and knows the game. He just never recruited better than us to move them ahead of us. Had he gotten the players MSU got over the years, he would likely still be in Oxford coaching. Lived mostly off transfers and one year wonders getting that so desired grad degree which they never got. But.....he was never ugly towards us that I can remember.

Andy has found his calling, he won't have to do much except talk in TV, right up his alley.

I personally don't really like his coaching philosophy...no defense and a green light to jack up as many 3s as you can. But I have enjoyed him on tv during the tourney.

I Hope UGA ****s up and fires Fox. That would be the perfect guy to bring on as an assistant for a year ..
and no I wouldn’t at all mind having AK on this staff. Any program that has an ex head coach ( that knows his roll as an assistant ) just improves ur staff tremendously.

But I agree AK kills it in the studio with the SEC. The SEC network basketball coverage destroys their football coverage. And it’s not even close.

Hasn't this been our philosophy lately? We did a MUCH better job of shot selection and making the extra pass to an open shooter last night, but the end of the regular season was brutal.

I hate Ole Miss as much as the next guy, but AK has been phenomenal during this tournament. I've really enjoyed listening to him and believe if he doesn't want to coach anymore that he has found his next career.
