    Found a little sports trivia today that I found interesting--Chuck Connors' sports

    career before he became an actor.

    he is one of the only 12 guys to have ever played both professional basketball and MLB.

    he played on the Boston Celtics very first team where he became the 1st player to ever shatter a back board.

    played a game with the Dodgers and 62 with the Cubs. I saw one Montreal Royals baseball card where he hit .308 / 20 HR / 108 RBI

    His famous quote about baseball I thought was pretty cool:
