I've heard that straight line winds will be the issue in the golden triangle area. With the rain we've had I'm hoping the trees are able to hold. But we're not in the orange on that map...should we be ok or still in the path?

Mix of both depending on where you are. Over in AR and NW MS there?s a chance of discrete supercells ahead of the main line. As you go further east it should just become a QLCS event.

Agreed with this. The closer you get to the River, the more chance you have for discrete cells. Straight line winds and some tornadoes are the main threats. Y'all keep some sort of weather information nearby today and tonight if you live in AR, Northern LA, Northwest MS, and West TN.

Tornado Watch is officially issued. Please make sure you know which county you're in and where to find it on a map.

What about Port Gobson? Not really in the highlighted area, but these storms almost look to be heading NNE.

Fortunately, these are all mainly quick spin ups. None just have that tight hard couplet.
