Malik Newman
Is he good enough to get drafted this year? Otherwise 4 years in college playing 3.
-
What's his stats this year and what position is he playing?
-
His stats are virtually identical to what he did at MSU...

He's not playing in the NBA and the reasons haven't changed. Not athletic or versatile enough to play the 2 at his size, and isn't quick enough and doesn't handle the ball well enough to run the point. Should have a nice career overseas.

This all day long. Watched him vs WV, and he attacked the room twice and he got stuffed both times.

Lord. What a misstep by him and his dad. Not listening to Howland was a bad decision on their part.

if he gets drafted its late second. JMO. If my Memphis Grizzlies had 4 second round draft picks i wouldn't want them to draft him

Newman's problem was being fed too much hype in high school and it resulting in an overgrown ego and head which seems to have stunted his athleticism. He's a good athlete when the NBA only takes elite athletes at his position. I don't even think he'd be starting for us right now. He'd basically be ahead of Tyson Carter in the rotation and there's zero chance his ego, Horatio or the other ****head would allow that to happen.

He is what is wrong with the entire sport. All of them think they are good enough to be one and done. Unfortunately, very few of them are that good. But they listen to the idiots around them telling them they’re gonna “ get paid!!”
You hear those bells mother-fudder....an Air-RAID is coming and that is yo ass!

Maybe he can play in the Big Baller's league and make around 5 g's a month!! Hell Yea!! But to answer your question Hell no he want be playing in the NBA EVER!

In Sidney's case the problem was burnout and poor motivation and work ethic. He was and still is plenty talented, just doesn't have the desire or what it takes upstairs. Newman just isn't that talented; everyone around him was too busy promoting him and planning his future to realize that he peaked early in high school.
