It's extremely difficult to be a lottery pick. Your throwing that term out like it's basically nothing. I don't know enough about Perry or Jeffries but we don't have a single lottery pick on our team right now and I seriously doubt either of them will be one either. Just be happy if they are good enough to sip some gatorade at the NBA level. We've played against maybe 4-5 lottery picks this entire year out of all the teams we've faced. They are very rare.

Right now Kentucky has 2 players projected in the nba draft and one 1 lottery pick. Compare our recruiting rankings to theirs. The only player on our team currently that I think makes it at the moment is nick, and he really has to step up his passing game

Lamar, Nick, & Perry all have 1st Rd talent. Now lottery pick I'm not sure about that. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they're in the NBA in a few years. I feel most confident about Perry being the highest possible pick. Ado has to keep progressing but it's not a stretch to think he could develop into a potential NBA player in a couple of years. I'm not going to even get into Jeffries because I'm not quite convinced we're in the top 2-3 for him yet. I'll wait & let his recruitment play out a little more.

After seeing Malik, I am hestitant to project a guy to the nba before seeing him play at div 1 level. I do like it a lot that you feel so strong about him bc you are much smarter than me on these things.
I love peters, but he seems so unstable that I just do not know.

If Nick and Peters turn MSU into a sweet 16 and beyond type team they will have to play at an NBA level to do it and that's when the spotlight will be on them. Peters can shake any player in the country and he's starting to realize that. Nick is a physical freak and elite defender. Once he puts on 10-15 lbs of muscle he's going to stand out. His issue is his long shooting stroke.

Gene says on Twitter we got the Juco to commit.

You’re right on that. But I like to think Malik’s injury was what threw him off here, other than his “genius” dad that thought he knew more that Howland.

Yeah I want in on this too. You can put me down for a large sum if anyone wants to bet we have 5 players in the NBA in the next 4 years. That’s crazy talk

Why are we his only offer on 247?
-
Jeffries dropped to a 4* on 247. Kentucky may not want him now...******

This post doesn?t surprise me one bit.

I didn't know who the recruits were, they sat on the row in front of me, and everybody including the managers came over and talked to him, even Greg Ellis and he don't say shit to anybody.

He was an ESPN Top 100 player in 2016 when he signed with Arizona State. He's a great shot blocker, good rebounder and a big body. He's very limited offensively besides dunks it appears. Maybe other teams don't want to take on that type of player that only has two years left. Who knows but he'll compliment Ado well.
