DJ Jeffries and Jethro Tshishumpa
Sorry if this was discussed in the game thread, I was at the game and didn?t keep up on here, but both of these recruits were at the game.
A lot of people have said Jeffries is not coming to us but just wondered if anybody on here knows if things are looking up with him now? Thanks.

Sorry for my ignorance but where they from and what sport do they excel at?

basketball, Jeffries is a 5* from MS 2019 class, Tshisumpa is a 6'10 JC Center shot blocking specialist. He's raw as **** offensively but he's a great shot blocker and decent rebounder. He's 2nd in the nation in blocks for JC avg. 4 a game. Sounds like he's Herard's replacement.

It’s going to be a MSU Kentucky battle in the end for Jeffries.

I think we end up with Jeffries while Alabama gets the Watford kid from Mountain Brook. Both are equal difference makers and lottery picks IMO. In the next three years or so, I think you see five players in the NBA from MSU. As IYOK stated a while back, that will open the door for Howland to recruit at an even higher level then he is right now.

Good news, thanks Market!

You've lost your mind 5 players in the NBA....if you would have said WNBA you might have been close.

No he hasn’t. That’s realistic

Holman is a possibility

as well

I think Holman has an outside shot as well. 6'10 with his smooth stroke and good shot blocking ability. Possibly even Q.

Holman has a chance due to his versatility, but the only way Q gets a shot is if he improves to be a consistent 40%+ 3 point shooter next year. He doesn't have the athleticism or the defense (as of now) to make it as the "scrappy 2" type you have to be to play his position in the NBA without being an elite shooter. He should have a nice career overseas at minimum though.

Do you mean we'll have 5 players get a few minutes in the NBA ala Arnett Moultrie, or 5 players stick for years in the NBA?

This is not a surprising post coming from you. Is it just blind obstinance or are you really that dumb when it comes to basketball?

Pretty tough to predict NBA veterans outside of 4-5 guys each year in the draft.

I don't think Holman has the stamina and I don't think Q has the quickness but both should make a very nice living playing overseas.

Lamar Peters - if he stays one more year, he could be a lottery pick. He needs to work on consistency. He has the talent to be a good NBA player.
Nick Weatherspoon - I imagine he will bolt after his sophomore year especially if he continues to improve on the offensive end. I think he is a lottery pick and could be a good NBA player.
Abdul Ado - has all the potential in the world and we are seeing it unfold from the beginning of the season until now. I think he bolts after his junior year and is a first rounder. He could have a good career in the NBA.
Reggie Perry - has all of the tools in the world to be a great stretch four in the NBA. He’s either a one and done or at the latest will stay his sophomore year and be a lottery pick. He could have a good NBA career.
That’s four we could have in the NBA on next year’s team alone. If we get Jeffries, that could be the fifth.

I do not see 5 players/commits on our team making the nba. It is extremely hard to make the nba.
