    Let?s look at some positives....

We have shown that we can play as well as almost any team for 20 minutes. We seem to be able to outscore any team for a half, except Florida. We put together two great halves against a Vandy team that just beat LSU. The team battled back tonight. The glimpses of improvement are there and becoming more frequent. This Bama team just beat Auburn.

We are close. Just need to find out a way to start putting together more than 20 minutes a game and avoid halves where we fail to score at least 30 points. The 5+ min stretches of no points are killing us. Turnovers are absolutely killing us too. We have not improved in this area all season.

I think that?s what?s so frustrating. We play great for a half and then we go 5-8 minutes without scoring and it?s game over. We look like a great team in spurts. Potential is there but it?s potential that has to be realized. It?s almost like watching a pitcher throw 98 and mow a team down for 3-4 innings then he can?t throw strikes, walks a few and then gets hammered. Gotta get over that hump. Great effort and fight second half tonight!

Ado getting in foul trouble every game is why we can't put two halves together. He seriously needs to stop fouling. Q also disappears for half the games. Team needs to be a Peters & Holman show from here on. Those two guys can win us some games. Take the keys from the Spoons and give them to Lamar & Aric.

They were the two that were with Howland after the game, Holman and Peters. Holman said the reason we started out so poorly was due to leadership. He said we needed to see more from the upperclassmen. Holman gets it and understands what we need. Sucks that the two others in his class do not (Stapleton didn’t even make the trip!). In fact, Howland pointed out Stapleton hasn’t been with our team the last two road games. If this team rallies behind Peters and Holman and those are our two leaders we need them to lead. Q just isn’t a natural leader. He’s a good complimentary piece. We may need to as you said 61 have Peters and Holman lead us. I know one thing. Peters needs and deserves to start.

Peters definitely needs to start against Ky Tuesday night. I just hope he has regained his confidence and it carries over.

Ado would really be a good player if he had a competent big man coach... unfortunately there is not one on this staff...
