    Thank You Aric Holman

you are not playing like a ***** tonight. You are playing the way a 6'10 guy that can shoot is supposed to play. Not like a Guard- but as a Forward. It's beautiful. Play like this every night and you could be an All-SEC guy.

    Thanks

Difference between tonite and Sat. 20-10 assist. 30% t0 50% 3ptA. oh yeah 40% shooting % better than the usual 25%.

He still only played 26 minutes, but that's 5 more than his average. Finally Howland let Holman play some 5. He's obviously not as physical as Datcher, but he's more effective.

Alot of that is because Holman stayed his ass in the paint alot and stopped drifting out to the 3 point line. He played like a forward tonight and it was huge. On the season- 1/3 of his shots are 3's. Tonight- 10 of his 13 shots were from 2. Thats a huge difference in his style of play

Very true, but the matchup obviously helped. He can't let these other, more talented teams push him out to the 3 point line.

He pushes out to the 3 point line because he is a stretch 4. He played more minutes at the 5 tonight so he didn't push out to the 3 point line as much. Personally I like a more traditional 4 over the stretch position. Would like to see him in the paint a lot more.

He needs to stay in the paint. Hopefully he can build more muscle and become of intimidating presence. This would also help Ado down there.

Holman took good shots and created good shots. Best all around game by one of our guys this year.

It’s amazing what happens when you pass the basketball. We only had 5 turnovers and had 20 assists on 31 made baskets. Gonna be hard to stop us when we do that.

Coach Norman Dale loves this philosophy but make sure that Jimmy Chitwood takes the last shot.

It's because we played inside out instead of outside in

Peters stepped it up tonight with Nick getting his foot hurt. Holman was gigantic and Wright added some nice minutes too.
