WE CANT SHOOT
If we could, we could go far.
Its SOOOOO frustrating to watch.
-
It seems like we would have to try to shoot this bad. Defense will keep you in every game but being unable to shoot will keep bad teams in the game too.
-
and Kenedy outcoached Howland...especially at the end.
Why is ADO out by the 3 pt line defenind the pick and roll and not protecting the rim?
-
This is more of the same. We aren’t good.

Stats don't lie. 34, 21 and 50. That's the shooting percentages for this game. About the same for the last game. Difference is 17 FTs to 40 something last game. Can't depend on the refs every game.
-
Our best player didn't give his best effort. Poor ball handling, poor defense, and poor shooting will get you beat every time.
-
If this team shot 75% free throws, they would win more than they lose in SEC, because of defense. However, they don't do that, and can't shoot 3's, so more struggles to come.
-
Must disagree, most all of them can shoot and not shy to do it, especially from NBA range for an attempted three. Just can't make many of them! That free throw distance thing is tough also!***

I'm starting to wonder if Howland knew early on we'd have major issues on offense this year and decided to make some adjustments to set up for year 4. The only way to explain multiple guys drop 20% or more from 3 from last year over this long of a stretch is that those in question had their shots altered significantly. By doing so, either Howland was looking further down the road than this season, or he was gambling that the growing pains would end sooner.

He might try sitting some of these AAU/NBA range three point "shooters", who can't consistently hit the lake while sitting in the proverbial boat. Goes for missing "free throws" also.
