Sec team loses a bowl... they did not show up. Perhaps ucf is better than given credit for and auburn is just avg away from home

Perhaps, or perhaps AU made a lot of mistakes too.

Guess that writer in Fl can not only demand they get in the SEC, but their 13 - 0 record deserves the Natty title with no need for any playoff games tonight!

He can demand all he wants, won't change a thing. UF and FSU run that State. They could be 15 and 0 and they would not get in the SEC because UF wouldn't want it. Now it would be a tough pill to swallow to be 13-0 as a fan and not get invited to the dance.

UCF coach just horsecollared one of his own players to avoid a big penalty.

Maybe go to the ACC. It's overall easier than the SEC but tougher than whatever UCF is in now.

I doubt FSU and Miami are going to allow that either.

UCF got a lot of pressure today and that was the difference . Their DL beat AU OL

Why doesn?t he demand they get in the ACC or the big10 or big12?

Plus, UCF had a great QB and no. 18 was fantastic on defense.

This is why we need an 8 team playoff... all 5 p5 champs + highest ranked G5 + 2 at large. The 4 we have now, plus UCF, USC, OSU, and Wisconsin. Only complaining would be from a 9-3 Auburn team that lost it's last game when it mattered most.

More TV revenue for the NCAA and ESPN, guaranteed playoff money for every P5 conference, G5 is given an actual shot to prove themselves, we as fans get to watch more football, nobody has much of a reason to cry about being left out, and the only downside is that we make the kids play one more game.

OSU demolished USC and could very well be good enough to win it all if given the chance. The entire G5 has 0 chance to play for a championship no matter how good they are. 8 teams solves everything

UCF definitely wouldn?t go undefeated in the SEC but they impressed me today. They took it to Auburn.

Exactly. UCF is better than I thought, but the bowl game is a one-game season. There is a huge difference in that situation versus playing that game today (and moving it to Auburn), then going to Baton Rouge, hosting Texas A&M, and traveling to Starkville in consecutive weeks.

UCF should have been in the playoffs. Yeah I don't know if they would have a prayer but they earned the chance by being undefeated. Should have an 8 team play off anyway. Winners from all P5 conferences and 3 at large bids. But what do I know, I'm just a dumb redneck.
