Arkansas vs Mississippi St. Basketball Game
Looks like you guys are having a great season so far. My son and I will be visiting to watch the game tomorrow. Any suggestions on places to eat or things to do and see before the game? Thanks and best of luck the rest of the season unless you are playing the Hogs of course.

Bulldog Burger Company is a good place to go eat before the game. That?s in the Cotton District.

McDonald?s is great**
I like burgers, so I eat at Christy?s, bulldog burger, or mugshots. I have heard good things about 2 brothers smoked meats, but have not tried it yet

Thanks. I am guessing that it shouldn't be too difficult to get tickets at the game.

Unless you bring 5,000 or more, tickets should be no problem

GONTO little adopted for bbq. It’s the staple. I like Petty’s more, but Little Dooeys is a must visit place for lunch.
Veranda, The Grill, or Restaurant Tyler for drinks and/or dinner. All would be good for lunch too.

I would just hit up Oby's if it's you and your son. Your son will like the chicken tenders and you can get whatever.

Can’t go wrong with oby’s. Probably the most underrated place to eat in starkville. I just don’t like that area of town if you’re an out of town person looking for stuff to do.

Just did Oby's, killer Roast beef sandwich.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like we will have Oby's for one of our meals.

Just don't talk shit when the Hogs beat us like a drum. Don't know the point spread but bet hogs with your savings. If you play zone you win by 20.

I expect a good game. I never know which Razorback team will show up on the road. We lost by 25 to Houston in our only true road game this year.

Your 2nd meal should be at Two Brother's Smoked Meats. It's close to campus in the Cotton District.

The empty 2,000 seats in the lower deck are really difficult to sit in but the empty 5,000 in the upper deck are super easy to get a ticket for.

You should visit the newly opened Grant Presidential Library http://www.usgrantlibrary.org. Just opened in November. Also has the William's Collection of Lincolniana Gallery. A $3 million collection of Lincoln materials. Located in Mitchell Memorial Library. Suggest u park behind Longest Student Health center. parking shouldn't be problem with students stillout. One last thing, if you are staying overnight...eat breakfast at Starkville Cafe downtown.
