Right, we need depth at LB and help on special teams. Nothing wrong with adding a former Florida State player to go along with our former Michigan, Georgia, and Michigan State players.

Correct?
Or do you mean it starts with the signing class after next year's signing class?
You can't count back starting next year, it's a hard 25 player limit

Definitely wondered the same thing. But he was an AA out of high school with offers to Ohio state and FSU so there?s something there. I?m giving the staff the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise haha

Some info on Kilby-Lane from FSU's SBNation site: https://www.tomahawknation.com/flori...e-leave-roster
They basically say he was a good player as a freshman, but let his grades slip during his freshman year at FSU.
Should be a good pickup. And I wish the young man godspeed in keeping his grades up. I would imagine that our team has a better culture of accountability than Free Shoes University.

And he's probably added a little more mental maturity by realizing keeping his grades up is important to his athletic stature.

Well I wouldn't say out of nowhere as there was a little bit reported about us seeing him but it was definitely very quite behind the scenes recruitment.
