So, if we do happen to lose out on carvin, do we reach on an olineman or get best available and hope to get olinemen next cycle?

I'm so 17ing burnt out on losing out to OL , WR, & CB's.

If Merlin had recruited this hard at State we wouldn't have lost half the croots we did.
-
At least we appear to have starting tackles for the next 3 years. Really need those jucos we redshirted to pan out and be depth this upcoming season and starters in 2019

It just was not necessary to blow up the whole coaching staff and start over. The program was not in shambles. Looks like we are paying for it with Bishop, Carvin, maybe others. Hope I'm wrong but this seems like a big mistake by CJM.

Bishop was tied with TBuck but Carvin was strickly a Hev and Gonzo recruit so that didn't matter who we kept. Rod Gibson has taken over lead during the transition. Let's see how tonight's visit goes. But Bishop is the only guy that you can make the case for right now

I reserve the right to change my mind after we see how this pans out, but at this time, I think it's far more important to get the staff right than worrying about 1 player

It's totally unrealistic to think outta 24 commits any coach ever in the history of football is gonna be able to hold onto all 24 high school kids right after the guy that got all of them committed bolted to Florida.

I amazed at the number of pus$ies around here.
Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

Joe say
Also can anyone photoshop JoMo's face on Harrison here and Muffin Man's face on the other guy

So there is a good chance we can still land him. I was just checking the crystal balls this morning and noticed it. Seems like we have a legitimate shot if we have the in home after the others he?s considering, if him having a hard time telling people no is accurate.
We need some OL talent and depth if we are to take the next step.

Per Steve, Carvin hasn't committed to anyone and reports that he has is false. FWIW

No one was saying he was committed to anyone. Just that there were 3-4 crystal ball predictions of him to Florida in last 24 hours. One of those predictions being our own Robbie Faulk.

Actually this was all stirred up by Gator Country reporting he had committed to the Florida staff. Not saying there's not smoke but just passing along what Carvin told Steve a little while ago
