I'll be there if he comes by. I had a nice 10 pt on camera (afternoon with plenty shooting light) 10 out 17 days leading up to start of rifle season. Ive hunted him about 9 afternoons in the the last 3 weeks and no luck. He is still showing up on camera every night or 2. A couple nights he came out within 20 minutes of me leaving. I always hunt him with correct wind, but he always slips me. Amazing animals with amazing senses, but I believe he will slip up in the next 3 weeks.
On the plus side, Ive gotten to see a covey of quail that are living near the same plot and love to come feed every afternoon. Good luck to all this weekend.

Not sure where you hunt, but I bet he will start thinking about other things and slip up real soon. Good Luck!

Well, the weekend has come and gone for me,,,, as I sit in Atlanta's airport. However, they did move Friday and Saturday with several bucks seen. All of them was before 6:30 both mornings. (No clear shot at all) All deer were looking for food due to the cold. At least in North Miss, the bucks should be active for the next two weeks with the moon cycle. Good luck to all this week!

Similar story for us. We saw them on camera at 620 mid week last week so we got in stand on Sunday at 6 and froze our nuts off til 9. There was prints everywhere and some poop 20 yards in front of my stand. They’re coming through there, we just have to hit it right. I’ll be back wed for a mid morning to afternoon hunt. We will see.

Hoping to be able to hit the woods in a couple of days. Taking some vacation time and hoping to smash one.
