Chad Morris to Ark
Trying to get Brent Venables as DC
-
Venables leave Clemson to go to ark for same position? If they pull that off, we should go get Sean Payton as our OC
-
Ark be late and shit. tardy.

This makes me think Cohen just flat out liked Moorhead than the other candidates. I think thats a good hire. Morris is a good coach, his offense would be really great with us too. Hes from the south, coached in the south as a HC and OC, known as a great recruiter. Pretty strong statement for Moorhead if Cohen picked him over Morris

I agree. I think Morris is an excellent hire. A&M could have had him for a lot less than Jimbo.

Did we interview him? If not I wonder why?

I want to say it was reported that we did.

I think Moorhead will be better than Morris.

Morris is an excellent hire. Also makes you wonder what the hell Norvell has in his closet to keep him from getting an SEC job.
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Yeah, he's not even getting interviews. Must be something pretty bad/obvious. On the surface, I would much rather have him than Tee Martin.

I'd bet he doesn't want it to come out, whatever it is...

He just signed an extension earlier today, so I doubt he's going anywhere soon regardless of skeletons.
Watching his team this weekend, he also doesn't believe in playing defense so he would be like Lateral Move and need a quality DC if he ever moved to a larger school.

How would you like to be Memphis where you either have to have Norvell's skeleton's in his closet or you have to worry about hiring Hugh Freeze as your next coach?

Mike doesn't try to hide the fact that he likes to legally gamble at casinos. In fact, he's gone to Tunica after big wins the last two years. Apparently that scares the shit out of Power 5 athletic directors and presidents. Personally I think it's stupid, but it is what it is.

Norvell's waiting for om to get off probation so he can get all the free hookers and blow!!**

Arkansas fans are pissed. Time will tell.
In reality, Arkansas has become one of the shittiest jobs in our conference. They are kind of on an island out there by themselves with so natural recruiting base. Their home atmosphere is pretty shitty and they randomly play games in another shitty stadium. They do have financial backing at least.

If we had hired him, I would worry big time about our defense. He has ties moreso in Texas than anywhere else and that will help him recruit there, so overall I think it's a good hire for them.
Their atmosphere is Fayetteville is OK. I did not expect their stadium to be built into the side of a mountain. They seem to be going away from playing games at Little Rock- thank God. If I remember correctly the main reason they play there is because of some huge booster basically making them play so often there. It would be like MSU having some random major booster forcing us to play a Sun Belt game in Jackson every year or he would hold back his donation.

Like most places, the atmosphere is good when the team is good and bad when no one is there. The game against Ole Miss two years ago when we forced the Chad Kelly fumble for the win was in the top 10 loudest college football moments ESPN has ever recorded. This past year sucked though with fans being so apathetic and so many games starting at 11 AM.
