Very possibly could be.
Most of the preseason magazines rankings are based off of a combination of previous year's record, returning starters, & recruiting rankings.
When adding all that up, I could definitely see us between 10-15

Yeah, I can see #15. And if JM knocks the DC hire outta the park we'll move up from there the rest of the season.

If we had knocked off UM we would be #12 in CFP right now. A bowl win against a P5 in the Citrus would have probably landed us 9-10 at the end of the season. Maybe as high as 8th. We have 18 starters coming back and a top 20 signing class - that Moorhead may make better. And, we hit the upgrade button on coaches. We are a Top 10 team next season.

Ha, we could be ranked #10 in the preseason, but that will put us at 3rd in the SEC West behind Alabama and Auburn who will also be in the top 10.

I see more 15-20 range... so much is based on historical stuff and that loss to UM knocks us way down this year... we lose the bowl game which is a very big possibility with the skelton crew and fitz out and we end the year unranked....
We won't jump back to top 15 I don't think.

If we somehow win the bowl game we might finish in the top 20. We will probably play a pretty good team wherever we end up.

I see it that way unless we have an impressive bowl performance. Just a win will make us 9-4, so that would probably get us preseason ranked.

Something y?all are missing is how well respected Coach Moorhead is with the media, National guys. We have a lot of talent returning but the hiring of coach JoMo in the eyes of the media is giving us a little more bump. That?s why I think you?re seeing them say 10-12. I personally think anywhere from 12-15 to start.

We are currently a top 15 team. The EB was an anomaly and we still almost came back.
Out other losses at full strength were to teams ranked 2, 5, and 6 after the regular season and we gave 5 all they wanted for 4 quarters. We may even be a top 10 team today but record doesn?t indicate.
We will have essentially the same team next year with more talent rolling in that we are losing. Top 15 at minimum but 8-10 preseason rank would not be crazy.

I think we will get some accolades next year. We've upgraded at head coach and probably on offense already. As others have said we need to knock the DC hire out of the park. Should be a fun year!

Meh. Key will be better next year too. And if Dan isn't ultra conservative when he put him in the game he might be a cult hero right now.
