It?s time for a policy change at the NCAA
The NCAA needs a policy change on not commenting on current investigations. They need to start releasing LOI?s and NOA?s the moment they are sent to schools. This would protect future student athletes from being lied to like what Ole Miss did, and protect schools from being lied about. There were a lot of things said to have been in the Ole Miss amended NOA that were not there. Most NCAA member institutions are public universities, and these letters can be made public when the law is properly followed anyway. If the NCAA won?t change this policy then maybe a state law should be put in place that makes public universities release NCAA documents the moment they receive them.
