I am all in on basketball now

Jacksonville state is probably better than SFA. I want to see us play a solid 40 mins tomorrow. Really encouraged by Carter driving the other night... hopefully he can continue to do that

We play Sunday, not tomorrow. I agree though, State fans need to put their asses in the seats Sunday.

Same. We need to get behind this team. They play hard and fun to watch.

I am having a hard time remembering a win vs a better team than SFA since Howland arrived. That was an NCAA team we beat that will probably upset a 4/5 seed in the first round.

If we keep progressing and we can get Peters and Stapleton back soon, we could go 12-1 in the OOC. This is a very talented team. Just have to start hitting the wide open perimeter shots and keep playing defense the way we are and this team has a high ceiling.

Howland is committed to playing 10 guys. We need to play 8. That's my only concern.

Richard Williams made a little comment to him about giving the guys more minutes sometimes they play better. This comment was in regard to Tyson Carter.

I mean, we beat an Arkansas team in Fayetteville last year that made it to the Round of 32. In Howland's first year we beat a Vanderbilt team at home that made the NCAAT.

It'll be interesting to keep track of SFA this year. They were really good in the first half and then wore themselves out and got in bad foul trouble.

I'm not sure they wore themselves out...in the second half we started aggressively taking it to the basket and we got them in foul trouble.

    Re: basketball

I heard a new janitor in the UA athletic department accidentally found and opened a closet containing basketballs... no word on if they’ve located a pump, however...
