Seems like some of the coaches for Starkville High and some of the SHS players have the same outlook the SPD has towards MSU. This is gonna happen in a small town when everyone wants to be big daddy and are jealous of the SEC University 3 miles down the road. Not much you can do about it. You could throw a red carpet down and kiss their ass 24/7 and they will still **** you over. Haters gonna hate.

I think it will change over time.
The truth is that many of today's Starkville high parents came up in an era where most MSU games were played in Jackson, so MSU didn't have the same level of economic impact on the city. That has changed now & will change the culture of the town

How did Texas A&M, LSU, Tennessee, Florida, etc all pass on Taamu in recruiting?
Bucky sucks as a human being & program runner, but the guy actually had an eye for QB talent.

He can't develop them for shit though. Can Art Briles develop QBs? RG3, Case Keenum, Bryce Petty, Kevin Kolb. Not terrible.

He can't develop them for the NFL, but his college offense didn't require much development so long as he had 5 star WRs
