I really can't see why Malzahn would leave a place he can compete for a natty and recruit nationally to go to Arkansas for a complete and total rebuild. I realize it's "home," but that's a huge drop imo.

Same reason Tn. and Fla. people don't believe Mullen would want to stay in Starkville.
Speaking of which, rumor has surfaced of the Gators looking this way again.
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

I actually see it as the opposite. Gus going to Arky would be similar to CDM staying in Starkville. Less pressure. Longer tenure. More reasonable fans.
