Question about Saban at MSU FB Game Last Saturday Night

Excuse me if this has already been discussed.

Two or three times during the game I noticed on a camera shot of Saban, standing the sidelines that there was an Alabama guy standing to Saban's right side, just a step behind him with an Oxygen bottle cradled in his arms. It was one of those 4 inch by two feet long portable tanks.

    Did anyone else notice this?

Any ideas what was going on? I never heard the network guys say anything about it.

Someone has the game taped. Can you guys get a shot to show what I saw? Should be obvious when the camera was on him.

I just rewatched the first quarter. There was a guy trailing him that was holding a clipboard, but I didn’t see an oxygen bottle.

You sure you weren't seeing a mirage, wishing you had an oxygen bottle? I know I coulda used one during that game.

Was Saban crying after the game? In his press conference it looked like he had shed tears recently.

I wondered that myself. Sure looked like it but I doubt it. Maybe those were tears of joy for having Ridley and hurts. Without those 2 we win by 2 scores. That?s how good our football team is.

He sounded/looked sick/stressed out to me. Deservedly so.

He did smile/act happy later with the players, so it was probably just temporary “emotional overload”, or maybe a cold...dunno.

    Uncharacteristic, for him.
