Decent chance we crack the Top 15 this week

Penn State lost again and now their loss to Ohio state looks dreadful.
Oklahoma State lost by giving up 62 to Oklahoma.
Iowa State lost to West Virginia
Virginia Tech losing big to Miami
Ohio State gets yacked on by Iowa

Also, numbers 19-21 all lost tonight and #22 Arizona is playing USC and is down 7-0.

Think all of these things could put us between 13 and 15. Would set up a Top 15 matchup next weekend and should get us big time publicity. I know we didn't look great today but I don't think anyone is gonna talk about that this week.

After November 1, survive and advance is all that matters.

Actually we could sneak into the top 10 or 11. Auburn and Georgia are not bad losses on the road even though they were blowouts. We’ve done enough to prove we are a good team. Our losses are better than most if not every other 2 loss teams. Plus, they would want to get us in the top 10 for Bama’s sake.

I wonder which way the committee is going to view our game.

Are they going to see just a team that struggle against UMass and not as good as they thought or

Are they going to look at a good team who probably had a hang over from the previous week, looking at Bama a next week but was able to pull it together at half and come out then do what needed to be done.

Ranked teams being upset by doormat teams are a thing this year. So maybe we get credit for avoiding the trap.
