Auburn might even be favored. You're nuts if you think it's a sure bet.

Auburn will beat one of Georgia or Alabama.

I'm convinced it's going to be Bama with their injuries.

Auburn is overrated. UGA is legit. This is a case of ranking making it look deceptively close. Bama and UGA are the two best teams in the country, and it's not particularly close. They will both roll Auburn.

UGA is really good everywhere on the field on both sides. I am super impressed with Fromm but eventually he's gonna have to beat someone really good strictly with his arm though and he hasn't been asked or challenged to do that yet so we'll see if he can. I am leaning towards yes he can do it but nobody knows till that game happens. Can Fromm beat a top 5 team by throwing for 300+? Can he beat a top 5 team while under lots of pressure like Clemson did to Auburn? We won't know till it means everything for UGA although every game right now means everything for UGA.

I think Fromm might/may be good enough to beat AU if the UGA run game is limited a bit, but still effective...

I don't think the same should be said vs Bammer...

I can see AU winning a close game or getting beat by 3 scores by UGA...

I give Bama the edge vs UGA on defense but I give UGA the advantage over Bama on offense and especially at QB. Fromm is miles better than Hurts and the other guy isn't ready yet. UGA also better at RB. Should be an epic battle we might see twice this year.

This may prove to be true... I'd give the edge to Hurts because I've seen him do it on the "big stage"... Fromm may be that guy, too... I don't see him remotely close as a run threat, though.

I'd agree with you on RBs, too... Bama has a bit more depth, but after 3-4, how many do ya really need? OL, LBs, WRs seem comparable.

    Bammer's DL & 2ndary are better, IMO...

Which halfway decent offense has this been proven against?

What big stage did he (Hurts) make the difference and you won? Clemson? Your Homerism is getting the best of you my man. Bama has one DL ranked in the top 10 for sacks in the SEC this year. How are you better? If Minkah plays Saturday he'll probably rip his hammy for good trying to be a superhero and I'm not convinced Bama is good enough to beat State, Auburn, and Georgia without him. Bama is finally having to play legit SEC competition this late in the year with a boatload of injuries. I don't see this team even making the playoffs let alone winning a national title this year.

Hurts can beat you with his legs. Fromm can (in theory) make you pay with his arm. We'll how theory turns into practice when Fromm has to pass to actually move the ball versus passing to keep the D semihonest.

The safe bet is that Hurts is better because you know Bama can beat a good team with him being ineffective passing the ball but keeping enough drives alive with his leg to win with their defense. But Fromm wouldn't have to be a great passer to be much better than Hurts (or at least a much better fit for a team like UGA or Bama).
