I say no more time time outs once the FG unit is set

Shit is ridiculous. Having to make the same FG 4 straight times.

I agree. Or at least use the NFL rule of one "icing" timeout.

I thought the Arkie kicker used the "free kicks" to his advantage... but I don't think back-to-back TOs should be allowed, at all...

Consecutive timeouts should not be allowed. It?s ridiculous. Use the nfl rule.

I thought it was pretty funny that the Arkansas kicker was running smack on Ole Miss during the time outs.

Or if you call more than 1, the offense gets to position the ball.

Leave it to the OM rebel bearsharts to force the ncaa to chance another rule.

This may be the one category they are actually ncaa champs, ?most forced NCAA rule changes.? From
Their cheating ass days unde Vaught and his 150 football schollys to Houston Nutt signing 40 every February, that bunch seems to force many rule changes.

ETA. Yes I know the signing limit is SEC rule so save the responses.

It's annoying, but I guess I don't see the need to make a rule change. But I don't get why OM takes the final timeout. If the goal is to make the kicker lose concentration or build nerves, why night save that last time out so the kicker thinks you "might" be about to call timeout. Once your out, he knows you can't stop him again. I've always wondered about that. Before anyone points out that he drilled the others, he was taking those others post-whistle. The snaps were even post-whistle. They were stress free practice kicks.

If I was a coach I would call the referee over to me and if the kicker ever looked toward our sideline, I wouldn?t call it. Basically wait until he thinks you?re going to call it then don?t.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. did the NCAA change the PI rule after that ref screwed us in the Egg Bowl on that PI call? change it to a 10 or 15 yard penalty as opposed to a spot foul?
