Reasons Why Next Saturday's Game @ A&M is YUGE

Huge game next weekend, here is why:

    - With Arkansas & OM going down the crapper, A win at A&M paves the way for a 9 win season & basically a 3rd place finish in the SEC, since Auburn will likely lose 4 games since they still have UGA & Bama left on their schedule. If you consider that there is a decent chance that both Alabama & Georgia get in the playoff, then that leaves the Peach Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, &, at worst, the Citrus Bowl as our bowl destination. Cheer for Penn State to beat Ohio State next weekend. The SEC needs the media lover boy Ohio State eliminated from the playoff with 2 losses

    - A win next Saturday plus a warm up game vs UMass will give us a 4 game winning streak & tons of momentum going into the Bama game. Now, we aren't going to beat Bama. Not gonna happen, but maybe we can give them a quality game like A&M did & build some confidence vs them going into 2018.

    - If 2018 is going to be the dream season that we all believe it may have a chance of being, this team needs to learn to beat quality teams on the road. In 2018, we will play extremely tough football games on the road at K-State, LSU, Bama, & the Egg Bowl, which no matter how trash OM is at that point, can't be overlooked. With Arkansas mailing it in this year, the A&M game is really our last opportunity to have an impressive road win in 2017. It's pertinent that this team grows up on the road this week. It's absolutely no secret that this team has played terrible on the road in big games this year, but Saturday night provides an opportunity to hang their hats on something, learn from their prior mistakes, build composure & a winning attitude on the road. Building that confidence could go a long way towards paving the way to a special 2018.

We have to come ready to play Saturday night in College Station. This is a monster game towards setting the table towards a huge bowl game & special 2018.

Play with composure, tackle well, & execute. This game is very winnable, but we'll have to play well.

If the A&M and AR games were at home, I would be quite confident. As it is, A&M will likely be a serious challenge. Looks to me like we have about a 70% chance of winning 8 games this year, and that is not too shabby. Next year should be fun.

4th place finish SEC (3rd in West) maybe unless AU loses to someone other than Bama & UGA. They'll only have 3 losses in SEC and then 1 to Clemson. Head-to-head tiebreak with us favors them.

Hmm. It gets complicated with LSU likely causing a three way tie in which we all beat each other.

Whoa .. I forgot about LSU. They have chance to be 2nd in West ... the toughest test for them outside Bama is TAM. They could beat everyone else other than Bama on their schedule and finish with only 2 losses.

That would be wild if they finish 9-3 with their losses being Bama, MSU, and Troy and beating everyone else on their schedule.

What sucks that, due to drawing UGA from the East rather than anyone other East team, we are going to relegated from a NY6 bowl to Memphis. Mark it down

Contrary to popular opinion, I love Memphis. Fun and easy bowl trip. Some are harder to get to than others but very difficult to miss Memphis.

When you build ANY game up to much then it becomes an emotional liability. Our fans need to learn to temper their emotions and take these games one at a time. With that said.....

If we can win 3 of the next 5 we will get a big bowl game at 8-4. I’m not in to perception, so 9-3 really doesn’t matter. There will be only 1 team as a National Champion this year. The rest just came up short.
You hear those bells mother-fudder....an Air-RAID is coming and that is yo ass!
