The offense is going to go as Fitz goes. If he doesn’t make great reads and throws into coverage, we are going to struggle. Sure, our receivers aren’t helping him but you guys have to admit he is playing like shit.

One of those drops was the interception. They consider anything that hits any part of the receiver a drop. He’s not playing well. He’s had plenty of time to pass and make good reads with the football and hasn’t very well today. At least 3 of those drops were way inaccurate passes.

Replacing Dak is not easy. I get it. Would Keyton do any better? Or would he get even more frustrated with the dropped passes.

I thought he made some very good throws, and a few bad ones... mostly good though

I don?t know - utilize the muscles in his hands and squeeze? I?m not going to disagree that the passes haven?t been perfect - but every receiver I?ve ever known has said if they could get their hands on it they should catch it.

We have more yards than 3 of BYU?s opponents had the whole game right now. No one has broke 500 on BYU all year... we?re on pace for over 600. We?re a little sloppy, but we?re dominant so far

Yeah. Agreed. I think a lot of it was 11 am game and our team doesn’t seem to be interested in this game. Teams tend to not do well in that 11 am spot. My whole point though is that our problems aren’t all on the receivers. Fitz is the motor to our offense and when he doesn’t play well we will struggle. But that is how Mullen’s offenses have worked. You need a special quarterback for this offense to be awesome. If we can go out to start the second half and have a clean drive and score a TD, I’ll feel better. We need to build momentum for next week to kick the shit out of Kentucky.

The amount of drops are insane. Credit to Gray though hes a good player but the others have no excuse. Maybe D Thomas he might be hurt, other than that its piss poor

Dan needs to say 17 the idea of making Fitz a pro guy and turn this offense into the 2009 offense. This offensive scheme sucks! We're don't have the players to throw the ball a lot.

I think what you're seeing is Dan realizing our passing game needs to be much improved to beat the better teams and we are practicing it today vs a lesser opponent. I love what we are trying to work on today. Good job Dan!! Only one way to get better in the passing game guys and that's by working on it in games. We are doing exactly that today.

Hell the game I'm watching has Fitz saving our a$$ on 3rd and longs, making a TD saving tackle on the INT, 72 yards rushing and 2 TD's. What in the hell else could he do?

one thing is for sure, with the amount of time the OL is giving Fitz, this is a total shit show. we're playing one of , if not the worst P5 team in the country. they are slow. can't get separation, dropped passes. and that Fitz int was pure shit. I don't care if it was the RB, you gotta get that pass in his bread basket .

the 2 one hoppers sucked too. but he has also made some nice throws as well. but considering the team we're playing, pure shit.

Dan’s kind of forced us there to have to play Fitz. He’s certainly our best atm. Our offense will go as he goes. I just don’t understand the hate for the receivers. Have they played like shit? Sure but it takes two to tango. Fitz hasn’t made the best reads or throws either. I’d just like us to come out with this drive in the second half and give us one good clean drive. We need momentum going into next week.
