    Can't just go by the blue check though. I have seen accounts with only 2k followers get the check and I have seen some with 100k+ followers that don't get the blue check. Twitter is very shady with who they deem worthy of the blue check. Hell I saw a porn star with 95k followers and no blue check and that girl had to take miles of dick and still didn't get a blue check. You can literally watch her taking sausage on video on her twitter account and no blue check. Twitter thumbs their nose at people. She's a very nice lady!

    She probably just hasn't applied for the blue check.

    How does Twitter go about "confirming" (might as well use the word again) a person is really who they say they are so they can give a blue check?

    You have to send them a bunch of shit confirming who you are including having a website and you have to explain to them why you deserve a checkmark. Oh you also have to be a public figure/famous or media member. It's annoying and petty. Twitter deems the rest of us peasants unworthy.
