David Johnson pretty much picks everyone to go to Ole Miss. Part of it is a tactic to make MSU fans not feel confident about getting certain players so that we freak out.

Could someone explain to me how a dude with offers from AL, GA, TN can be a 3 star? that shit's always confused me.

Whop and Spivey for sure. Spivey is expected to commit this Friday.
If things keep going like they are now, some though decisions will need to be made.

Need at least two more OLs

My guess:
QB- Done
RB- Done
WR- Davonta Jason
TE- Done
OL- Probably need to get three- Jerome Carvin, mystery o-lineman, and someone else. Christian Henderson? Hamilton Hall? Hopefully we're still going after Cole Smith although I doubt we get him because that would require effort from Hevesy.
DL- I think we're done now. Maybe Geor'Quarius Spivey?
LB- Jacquez Jones may flip to us.
CB- JUCO CB. If not maybe Jamaurian Jones?
S- Probably done
K- Done
I think we oversign a little bit to offset counting back. If no one gets dropped or whatever, I could see it being 30. That won't happen though because two are likely sign and place and there is at least one that I think will be dropped. Hevesy could always whiff on the other three as well. End of the day, I'm guessing we'll get 25-27.

Actually, I saw the tweet from Rosebowl while eating at Pizza Hut and didn?t feel like taking the time to post a link. I googled his name to see who he was and his offer list and then posted he committed before eating my last piece of pepperoni pizza.

He needs to commit to AL for the star bump.

That would be pretty funny of our guys did that, got the star bump and then flipped. It would show what a mockery the star system really is.
The star system isn't nearly as accurate as Saban, Meyer's, etc. evaluations.

Or a 5 star if Alabama offers.

Isn't he out this year with an ACL or something. Which is why he has the offer list but is still a 3 star.
Funny how all the sudden we are a bunch of star gazers.........

Think we've got 2 so far, which is one more than last year. Guess we'll find some projects again somewhere.

If we get Carvin along with Dolla Bill it will be Hevesy's best recruiting job in terms of stars. It's very possible that happens. And no idea who the mystery o-linemen is or how high he is rated. It could be Carvin for all I know.

Don't hold me to it....but I think we can count back 4 maybe and have 2 sign and place.
Williams is a big get.

2 OL - Spivey - Whop - CB (Juco). We'd make room for David Reese or Myles Mason or Corione Harris but that's pretty much it.

It's not Carvin

I would be satisfied if that is how we finished although I would prefer 3 OL rather than 2.

That's good news to me. If the guy is highly rated that would potentially give us three high 3-4 star o-line recruits. I will take that any year.

I don't disagree but it's going to be tough unless we lose a commit or 2 & the guys I'd be fine with losing aren't going to be asked to leave.
