Fully rested pen, and snit brings in our worst pitcher to face their best hitter. I just can't get over how dumb that is. Like seriously, that is Fredi Gonzalez dumb

Well it was nice to be in 1st place. One question I have is where is Flarehty. He was the hottest hitter on the team before the Bautista mistake now with us playing in Boston I thought he would be DH.

Sounds like we need bullpen help. We need to go out and get it.

It was just a stupid excuse for a stupid move. Biddle was in the game, and had only thrown 7 pitches (6 strikes). If snit had the sense to use baseball reference like me or half of mlb fans, he would have noticed that biddle's career splits are the following: vs rhb, .114/.205/.143 and vs lhb, .500/.550/.778. So the real question is why make a move in the first place? If snit is unable or unwilling to use basic info, he shouldn't be running an mlb team. Rant over... send wisler down, promote Evan Phillips (an actual reliever instead of another failed starter to try in the role) from Gwinnett (15 g, 13.32 k9, 3.33 b9, 53.1% gb, 1.48 era, 1.91 FIP), and get a win tonight... we need it bad

They are both good hitters. can give one a semi day off and keep his bat in line up. Bobby used to do it with Lopez and whoever the "defensive" catcher was when they played in AL parks...

I don't have a problem with it, but what happens if Kurt gets hurt?

I agree. Was curious to me when he made that move. But I've seen you and others complain when he uses certain guys too much, which is what he was trying to avoid yesterday. I felt he should've left biddle in.

Speaking of Bobby, that was also one of his weaknesses that cost the braves a good bit in the postseason over the years, he'd pull a guy that was doin well to play match ups or go by the book. Several games lost because of that. The last one that sticks out was pulling kimbrel his rookie year so Dunn could face Aubrey huff. Cost Atlanta that game 3 vs the giants and waisted hinske 's dramatic homer.

Well Newcomb just had his Tom Glavine moment. Thankfully he didn't give up any runs.

Just got home from fenway Park, watching my Red Sox win in convincing fashion (along with a Braves buddy of mine from Atlanta who's staying with me this weekend).

Red Sox are very good. Braves are a year away imo

Yep. Been talking about it with my buddy. Apparently all of the Braves pitching talent is in the minors right now. Also Braves aren't spending any money at all. They've got tons of potential for the future.

OPh that didn't look good at all. Think Acunas' hurt bad. when the opposing crowd gasps at the replay thats bad sign.
