Monday Morning Hot Seat Rankings

Yeah Butch is gone for sure. Word is they are talking Petrino and Brohm. 4 of Top 10 are SEC with Sumlin just outside the top 10. Win or go home in the SEC!!

Well, the SEC coaches do suck right now.
What is the shortest HC tenure in college football that doesn't include some kind of scandal? Because Orgeron will break that record.

LSU is in an interesting situation after giving O a 12 million dollar buyout. No way he is gone after this year IMO.

12 million? He only makes like 2, right?

There are some pretty incompetent AD's in the SEC as well....

WTF is the UMASS HC doing on this list?

Don't see LSU firing Orgeron for the lack of recruiting in the trenches the last couple of years. They would owe Miles and Orgeron 20MM and then have to hire a new staff. For a school having money problems, I just don't see it happening

Tennessees remaining schedule, is Scar, @Bama, @UK, USM, @Mizz, LSU and Vandy. Butch has a chance to finish 9-3.

They haven't won yet this year after going 2-10 last year. He is very clearly on the verge of being fired.

It’s very common for a new HC to have a high buyout. He already has a very low salary. The high buyout is put into place to protect himself for early termination. It sets the new HC up for having adequate time to make improvements on the staff and roster. This isn’t out of the ordinary and it’s very common.

They suck. They're probably not winning more than 3-4 of those. I think Bama, Kentucky, and Vandy are all losses, and who knows on the others.

Yeah his seat could be burning up with he himself on fire and he is safe.
-
They'll lose more than $12 million in donations and revenue if they keep him an extra year. He's gone, likely before the end of the year.
-
If other SEC teams, including MSU, start really chipping away at croots they will can his coon ass this year. LSU doesn't have the culture to let something like this fester.
-
Maybe Hev will be hired as a HC, to replace one of these HC's on the hot seat************************

Early signing day is 2 weeks after the season ends. That throws another monkey wrench into things

I agree, they are going to give O time to recruit and at minimum, leave a foundation for the next coach, which he will. Then again, while for a split second I thought O had changed, he reminded me how dumb he was when he 1 - didn't recruit Keyton Thompson, and 2 - declared that the only way you win in college football is to have a running quarterback.
Anyways, they want to turn him into Dabo, they think he'll recruit so well that they have no choice but to compete
