    Re-watching the MSU v. Auburn game 2014...

... pass, pass, pass, pass, run, run, pass, pass, pass, pass, run, run, run. pass, pass... etc....

And Bear only had a couple of catches... it's Mullen's M.O.!! If you are gonna play to stop the run, we will pass! It's up to Fitz and company to keep those drives alive by completing those short to mid range passes. It's how our O runs. 2nd half... Run, run, pass, run, run, run, run, pass, run, run, etc.... A lot of passes to the RB out in the flat, gotta get back to that.

Great points. And if you watch us, we throw on he first play if he game a ton. Why? Because we know teams want to shut down the run game and we have to attempt to soften them up early. If we can't, well it's usually a long night.

pass, pass, pass, punt or pass, pass, pass, int. Is what we will be looking at if we cant somehow improve our pass game (from both the QB and WR perspective).

Fitz isn't the passer Dak was in 2014, not yet. And we don't have the weapons at WR that we did in 2014. We have to establish a run game, which will be difficult against their front 7. If we can't run the ball, it's going to be a long night. This is another huge road test for this team and I hope they rise to the occasion.

If teams are gonna try and lock our receivers down in man coverage, we have to find a way to get fitz running on "pass" plays. If fitz bust a couple long runs vs man coverage, the opponent will have to go back to zone. Right?
