Dan Mullen as soon as he decides he wants to stop being stubborn about everything. Nobody can make him stop being stubborn only he can. I love Dan as our coach. I am very proud of what he has accomplished. I believe he can win a national championship here at MSU in the next five years. As long as he learns to stop being so damn stubborn. He shows glimpses of it at times like hiring Grantham and leaving him alone to run the defense so I know he has it in him to apply this same humbleness across the board. I believe Dan is the greatest QB developer in the country but QBs need development in aggressive down the field passing too not just checkdown Charlies. Dan is not aggressive enough in the passing game. Period. End of story.

Who can separate downfield? You praised (somewhat Hugh Freeze) but he was called Mr Bubble Screen, my point being like some others have stated, IF we can't run the ball then we will struggle with the passing game. You are basing your thoughts on the Georgia game and play calling, I'm pretty sure they will be in the top 10 this season and will probably play Bama in Atlanta for the championship game.
Things will be better, we just got our butts handed to us Saturday. Hopefully we can play better D and run the ball better against Auburn. After this weekend things will or should look better the rest of the way.
