    Good Article on Georgia's Offense

This correlates pretty well to my post last night on watching the Georgia vs ND game.

    Good article by SDS.

    Cliff notes:

    - Fromm averaged 4.9 yards per passing attempt vs ND

    - Georgia doesn't want Fromm reading defenses after the snap. Pre-determined throws

Watch out for trick plays this week. If our defense plays well, tackles, & has a semi-quality game plan, I don't see where Georgia's points will come from.

Don't turn the ball over & play clean, efficient game. We don't need heros Saturday night to win this game. We need sound, fundamental. & physical Mississippi State football. We are the better, more complete team in this game.

Now that's interesting. That could be a recipe for disaster for them. There's gonna be a lot of pressure on this freshman Saturday night.

One thing that is interesting to me:

As I read Georgia message boards & read about this game, all I hear from UGA fans is about how awesome their defense is & that will allow UGA to win the game.

That may absolutely be true, but I've yet to see a UGA fan address their offense being able to score points, other than saying Grantham sucks, 3rd & Grantham, kneel on 1st & 2nd down so they can get straight to 3rd down, etc.

No UGA has actually stated a competent way that they will score points on us. To me, that says a lot.

Yeah, I read some comments on an SDS article about Fitz facing UGA's defense. Most of the UGA fans were very high on their defense. They think their defense will completely shut Fitz and company down. A few don't think we can stop Chubb. They are really hanging their hats on that ND win by one point.

Yeh and all the LSU boards thought it would be a cake walk too. You see how that turned out.

Fromms not ready to face a defense like ours yet, that's why I'm glad we are playing him while he's still a freshman. If we contain their run game, I don't see them scoring any more than 14, provided we don't give them any freebies. If we get ahead early and they have to throw the ball this game will be another blowout.

After watching all that flipping LSU was doing presnap on offense and our guys just lined up and whipped them any ways I am not worried about that. My 14 year old son even said that was ridiculous to keep doing it. It was not confusing the defense. Canada is over rated.

I remember Grantham saying that all you have to do is key in on two players on Canada's offense. Where those two players line up after all the pre-snap eye candy tells you exactly what they're doing with the ball.

    He musta been dead right.

I think it's going to be low-scoring, and I think we'll be able to do enough offensively to get it done. I'm saying something like 17-6 or 21-10.
