Duck, Dove, and venison tacos at the tailgate tomorrow, cooked sous vide at home then seared at the tent.
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

Chicken skewers, black eye peas & turnip greens. Working through a few bourbons as well.

SpeckledDawg has the Bingo with the peas and turnips and washing with the Woodford. But the corndogs by Beast are the Yahtzee. We grilled Redfish (scale side down) tonight with Basil Hayden. For our tailgate; the standard deer meat wrapped in bacon, deer sausage, deer dirty rice, and deer boudin. For a quick snack before we walk in, grilled shrimp skewers. The tailgate trailer is loaded for an early trip. Plus, what ever the hell the Boss Ladies bring,,,,,I don't get involved with their plans and menu.

Today I hand over duties as the chief of design in Iraq to the new guys. I am 12 days away from beer.
Chicken wings in the DFAC for the last time tonight.
There are about 5 MSU alums on my base right now - and we say Hail State! LSU is going down!

We ate at Mary Chungs tonight (a fav of mine in Cambridge that specializes in Szechuan cuisine)....then we went downtown and saw Submline [w/ Rome], and one of my favorite punk bands of all time, The Offspring, who literally wrote the soundtrack to my adolescence. Twas a good night.

Going with Tico's Vodka, Cranberry Juice Light, with a splash of Sprite with fresh Limes, Grilled chicken wings marinated in Hacks BBQ sauce with Brown Sugar and Roasted Garlic, followed by Home made Gumbo.
