Took the Bote paddle board to the Rez today then went to Amerigo and had the Tuscan Ribeye with an Acrobat PN and my Woodford on the side. Came back to the house for football and enjoyed a few Rabbit Hole bourbons on the rocks and turning in and will be headed to Vegas about 10.

Put the rub on my ribs tonight. Tomorrow, I'll get it going. About an hour before lunch, my wife will cut up some bell peppers, squash, and a big 'ol onion. then, she'll either cook or sautee them.

Because of my gastric sleeve, I can only have a rib or two at a time. So, I'll probably be eating on it the whole weekend.

Update- have the ribs set out, sprinkled more rub on them, and am now waiting until the chill's off of them, then I'll put them in the smoker.

I have never smoked meat in my life. Trying a butt for the first time today. Brand new smoker.
