So Yall Think We're on the Cusp of an Arn Bowl-like hate/rivalry w/UNM?
I can see a few Mississippi lunatics driving down to the campus and poisoning trees, defacing buildings, spray painting statue Bully, or a million other things.
These ppl are becoming unhinged and after 9/11 there's no telling what may happen. Our basketball teams may need a little extra security when they visit that Beautiful Campus.

When they are banished to the Wilderness for the next ten years all kinds of crap will emerge from the depths of their depravity. Mullen won't be safe and croots won't be safe because the Network will turn its resources into destroying MSU. It's going to get ugly.

That has already happened..... This year..... I have pictures.....

They will be too busy eating their own.
-
There always have been those kinds of vandalism going on.
Bully has been kidnapped and mistreated in the past.
SA house lions have been painted, or were each year back in the '60s
Recently, DNF was vandalized with spray paint.
Unmentionable things done to cows and sheep on south farm by Horney frats from UM.
Always some sort of damage being committed on campus.
-
Impossible because we definitely aren't their real rival.
-
They'll calm down once we start ruing****

Check back in after a few homicides have taken place...

It's always been at that level.
-
I think it could get there. And like the Iron Bowl teams, it will be only one school known for their bad behavior.

This thing is spinning so wildly now due to the obscene amount of vitriol flowing from the UNM cult media. They are quick to point out how Rosey started it all but they fail to realize that if they weren't cheating like crazy and if any instate media at all would have covered the story at all (without getting fired) Rosey's involvement would have been minimal at best.
The volumes of bullshit that Yancy, Chuck, McCreedy, Godfrey and the rest of the Hitler youth have been spuing is mind boggling. The majority of it is inane babble back up by out right lies, but they have feed the masses so much garbage over an over they believe it. Now things are just about to leave the tracks for them and after the middle of Nov. it will crash and crash hard.
Between now and then the UNM media will continue to stir the pot and the outcome will defiantly lead to confrentation not on the athletic field and all the fault will be with those idiots.

If we're not careful they'll start yelling the N word at our guys, suing our defensive players, and vandalizing our stadium.

You forgot hurling empty whisky bottles and red high heels at our fans or destroying milk containers in their kitchens.

I think it's worse because it's so nasty. Most of the Alabama/Auburn rivalry is just good fun.
-
Well I think if they do spray paint bully, we leave it on there. Just a reminder every time you walk by.

are you familiar with MSU vs Ole Miss?
Cause it has never been any different. Matter of fact, an Arkansas fan once described it this way, "The rivalry between State and Ole Miss is like Ireland and Northern Ireland. NOBODY hates each other more than these two. And nobody else cares. "
Absolute perfection

I was gonna use the "Iraq v Iran" comparison... but your comparison is certainly apropos...
Bammer v AU is closer to cold war USA v USSR...

Heck, I've always thought our rivalry was much worse than UA/AU and that as usual we didn't get the credit it deserved for pure hatred. Why, haven't there been pregame fights b4? Check with Wes Shivers who wasn't even on our team at the time or dressed out and got nailed for having on a maroon jacket.

The Iron Bowl hatred is almost exclusively with fans. The players are all pretty "professional" about the game.
