How Braves stack up in this post season
Since I hope the Braves can hold on to a 8.5 game lead with 10 to play I started looking at how some of their numbers stacked up against other teams. I'll make no comments good, bad, or indifferent...just put them out there and let you make your own conclusions.
Runs against - Braves lead MLB with 516 runs allowed Pittsburgh is second with 545 and KC* at 572.
Runs for - Braves are 5th in the national league at 646 runs scored (St. Louis 738) which is tied for 13th in MLB (Boston 799).
Run differential - Braves are 2nd in the national league with a differential of +130 (St. Louis +162) and 4th in MLB (Boston +181)
*non playoff team
