Meyer also moved him from OL coach to "tackles and TEs" coach and then moved him to just TE coach before we hired Mullen. That is why he was available.

I am not saying he cannot coach. This year will tell the tale. He has 11 reasonably talented players the are RFr or higher. It is certainly the most talented and deep OL of the Mullen era. If we screw the pooch like we did against South Alabama last year, then he is definitely not the guy. If he is that good a coach, it should not take until 6 games into the season for the OL to gel.
