Lets Get this Straight: If Sluts For Recruits IS True.....................

    a) would this be in NOA #2?

    b) would this trigger yet another NCAA investigation and subsequent NOA 3

    c) does the NCAA ALREADY know about slut-gate and will be some type of addendum to #2

    d) if b or c happen to be correct, will this be enough mass to send UNM to athletic hell?

    e) side bar question: what UNM sports will said NCAA penalties effect?

    E) My sources in the OM administration say that the escorts were only for women's basketball and track.

It would be B, D, and prison time for whoever was involved.

I've heard the same but there is a LOT of smoke around their intramural program. Expect something to come out tomorrow.

I have no idea, but Wolken said that OM has NO desire what s ever to delay the hearing on 9/11. He says it can't get here soon enough for them now.

A heavy implication that more stuff is coming out soon that will publicly look very bad.

Hey Yancy, please get Kiffin to get the COI hearing postponed
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

IMHO, if the NCAA investigators did their job the first and second time over the 4+ yr investigation, then they should have already caught this shit. They should have sequestered every company phone from every coach + Barney & Bjork while they were combing through the records. They used text messages and phone calls as evidence in their own freaking NOA - they could have easily found Freeze's pattern and matched up the flight and phone records and uncovered this escort/recruit crap a LONG time ago.

Probably want to finish this investigation so they can start over saying that there is no investigation. They can start the spin cycle back over and lie to the media again. How long was the timetable for when they said there was no investigation until they finally admitted that football was being investigated for things that happened under Freeze? Seems like it was about a year long of lying in press conferences and the Clarion Ledger printing lies to the masses. Insert gif of the guy saying Nothing to see here.

With everything else they were running down, phones were probably way down the list. You gotta remember that what's in the NOA is only what they have concrete corroborating evidence for not everything they were looking at.

They would also be looking at specific things and not just investigating the whole program. They would follow the bread crumbs so if nothing led them to getting the phone records then they wouldn't have looked through them. They probably would have trusted that the UM supplied documents were correct. If those documents supplied were incorrect then that is pretty much a LOI in itself because that is either no control of the process or lying to the NCAA.

Always follow the money....... always. Where was it coming from/where was it going. The connections, whether by phone, text, plane ride, hotel/restaurant receipts, cars, recruit's facebook (holding $1000s in Ben Franklins), twitter quotes (C.J. Johnson) and anything paid with school credit cards or whatever will connect the dots to the coaches, recruits, supporters and other services.

Correct in theory, not in practice. NCAA does not have the man power to do that. But an attorney trying to get an apology......

Pawl not convinced there's a SlutGate. He thinks they were all for Danny Hugh.

Reasons: Coaches/Asst Coaches go on recruiting trips
If they were getting sluts for recruits, then some underlings and petty functionaries would be doing the calling.
Pawl told the caller he hadn't thought of that.....he doesn't know UNM as well as he thinks.

Except Hugh seems like a control freak or he thinks the less he has others to do then the less likely it could be discovered. It is why the Accounting standards now typically require at least 2 people when dealing with money. The more people involved, the greater chance of discovery.
