Here's something that pissed me off since day one

    of the OM saga.

They hollered this was all under Nutt so we shouldn't get hammered, he's not our coach any more.

That's like saying, and it's beginning to be heard in places, that all this was under Freeze. He's gone so we shouldn't get hammered.

It's the same as blaming Nutt. i don't care when it happened. You need to be hammered for it.

Here's my thought, shitbirds, I STILL hold Vaught's rampant cheating against you.
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.

When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

They need to realize that it's their INSTITUTION and not their HEAD COACH that cheated on many different fronts that allowed their INSTITUTION to reap the success and benefits at the expense of the other schools they cheated out of that success.

Man I hope TCUN gets hammered into oblivion -- I'm talking hammered to the point of being Jackson State's homecoming opponent for the next 20 years!!!

Yes but the genesis of this latest mess started with Oher ...then Freeze and Saunders set up the Wayne County testing center that garnered Powe, Jerry , and enabled all the talent to go to two straight Cotton Bowls to get eligible ...

Do you not remember the manifesto I wrote explaining that all of this goes back to Freeze coming to Ole Miss under Shrimpin' Ed?

No. It goes waaaaayyyyyyy before that. At least to Vaught. For example, this isn't the first time that escorts have been involved or highly suspected in Ole Miss recruiting. They have an incredibly elaborate recruiting and cheating process that doesn't just start with one coach 10 years ago. This has been honed since the 40's-50's.

Yep, I was hearing rumors about escorts for croots and players back in '91 and '92. This is where I was getting my theory that some om alum was running a call girl ring in Memphis and hooking them up.

Back with the '15 recruiting class, I heard from a pretty good source that is close the recruit that the recruit/signee's dad was bragging about how they had women waiting in stalls/rooms? for them on his son's OV. Not sure how much of that is made up or exaggerating but with everything coming out, it wouldn't surprise me.

In the 50's an OM booster was caught adopting a HS football star to steer him to OM.

Yes. Part of my theory with the Hugh Freeze situation is he thought that the escorts would be covered up by their alumni and he was sloppy because he thought he could get away with it.

I'm starting to think Freeze thought he was completely untouchable and immune to any association of wrong-doing. His hubris was his downfall.

Possibly the worst cheating ever...definitely the worst response to being caught cheating.

Sure he was. No reason to get worried about being caught when it's been going on for 50 years.
