    Dunkirk...

We just saw it today. Was a visual spectacle, and definitely a different type of WII movie. Anyone else see it yet? Thoughts?

It was really good and I appreciated them really not using CGI. The opening was amazing.

Good movie but Hans Zimmer ****ed it up imo. 2 straight hours of nerve-wracking music with incredibly loud action scenes prevented this movie from being excellent. Still it's a beautifully shot movie and deserves to be seen in the big screen.

Yes, definitely no one should wait for blue ray or DVD. And see it in XD if it's an option. The three time lines is interesting. Enjoyed watching them overlap.

I haven't seen it yet. Did they butcher the history as usual with the movies? I know they left the French pretty much out of it, which is highly inaccurate.

Show French defending outer perimeter and RN officer mentions staying on to evacuate the French.

My wife and I went to watch it and while I enjoyed the movie there were some problems.
If someone is going to see the movie that doesn't know much about the events leading up to the evacuation, they will be lost throughout the movie.

The music was almost annoying at times.

However I did enjoy the movie although I was having to explain, to my wife, what was happening the whole time and why they were evacuating.
