    Kylin Hill

Before camp I was one saying Hill will probably RS this year. So far into camp he is probably getting the 2nd most carries behind Aeris this year. He is the real deal. I saw him some at Columbus, he was every bit the runner Cam Akers was. Made Madison Central look silly in the playoffs. Idk if we have had a freshman RB like this since Mullen has been at State. Whatever preseason shit magazine ranked our RBs as the 13th best RB unit in the SEC needs to be fired. Immediately

They're probably going off what they saw last year and since Holloway was the starter for most of the season our rb group looked like shit. I think that was because of Mullen's way of playing older guys.

Do y'all think there will be an attrition at the RB position after Kylin jumps some of the upperclassmen?

That's exciting to hear. How does Aeris look so far? I think he's going to have a break out season

I don't disagree with their ranking. This is big boy football. Folks don't give you shit, you have to earn it. We probably deserve that ranking. Now our RBs need to go out and show they deserve better. You want to be top 5 in the league? Well show you deserve it. Don't sit around waiting on some magazine to give it to you.

Kylin Hill would have been rated the top RB if he had played at Clinton and Akers was at Columbus.

To add: Grantham has said that Willie Gay is in the "upper echelon" of most talented LBs he has ever coached

Have you seen practice or is this off word of mouth?

What is Kylin doing so well at in camp that is separating him?

Wow. That includes Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree. I hope Willie turns out half as good as those guys

Kylin really impressed me in the MS/AL allstar game, he looked better than Cam Akers.

Actually I just read an article by SR that said Hev is spending a lot of time working on blocking schemes. It seems more than any other Fall practice to date.

I'm feeling wooly. We're actually going to RTGDFB!!!!!! That plus Nick's elusiveness and two TE sets and we could be very dangerous this year.
    Death penalty or bust!!!***

You have to figure if the average fan is fed up with the O Line coaching, the way above average big money fan is as well and some pressure might be being put on him.

    That's what I'm thinking too.

OL has to step up and play better. Otherwise, it will be more of the same... have success running the ball against the bottom tier of the league and struggle to move the football on the ground against the upper echelon of the league. Doesn't matter who the RB is.

Yeah, it appears from some articles I've read and a few comments from some in-the-know folks on the MSU FB groups we are definitely going to run the ball way more than we have in the last couple of seasons.

I'm sure Mullen hs been a little pissed that our run game sunk so low. That's one of the reasons Hev is working the OL so hard for blocking schemes.
