See I just don't see that working unless it's a long time later. Even without all of this mess he still has all of the NCAA troubles to face. And as far as this new mess, I don't see how he can honestly clear his name. Either he's a sex addict (bad for his religious act- that takes time to recover from and requires some serious contrition) or he willingly participated in real legal problems (not just ncaa legal but call-the-cops legal).

He might could go to the NFL, but I doubt he will ever coach college ball again.

I remember Steve Robertson on Bo Bounds made the statement "that Hugh Freeze should never coach again" . Makes one think what Steve might have known several months ago when he said that.

What would the NCAA gain by cutting a deal with Nutt? They were after his ass from the get go, and draft night spurred them to nail him. His getting canned for moral turpitude has no relevance to the NCAA, because if that butt dial hadn't been made public, he'd still be drawing a hefty paycheck from OM and they'd saddle up together arm 'n arm in front of the COI to fight their battle and praise Hugh for his honesty, integrity and moral virtues.

As it stands today, OM has to go before the COI for the THIRD time in 2 yrs and try their damnedest to claim Freeze is an honest man that would never break or circumvent the rules of the NCAA. They have to paint him as an honest, trustworthy man that did everything in his power to walk a straight line and operate within not only a moral code of conduct, but a professional code of conduct.

It's a lost cause at this point, and there will be no deals made with the NCAA.
