Hey you song writing gurus out there, need some heppin' for a TSUN remake
House of the Rising Sun? Here's what I've come up with so far but would like some other ideas.
There is a school in Oxford, they call the rising sun, and it's been the ruin of many a poor boy and God I know I'm one.
My mother was a tailor, who sought some extra funds , my father was a gamblin' man and bet Hugh was the one.
Now the only thing a gambler needs is a bag man and free rent. and the only time he's satisfied is when he's got the network bent.
Oh mother tell your children, not to do what I have done, spend your collegiate years in sin and misery in the House of the Rising Sun.
Well I've got one foot on the plantation , the other on the transfer train. Do I move on or stay here and continue to wear that ball and chain?

Danny Freeze is my name and I served on the Network's train
Til Emmert's cavalry came and tore up the club again
Just like the winter of 94, we were scrambling like never before
By March 10th oxford had fell
It was a time I remember oh so well
The night they drove ole Dixie down and cowbells were ringing
The night they drive ole Dixie down and all the rebels were screaming
Noo noo no no no no no no no no no no no no no
Back with my wife on the square and one day she yells to me
Danny quick come and see
there goes Barney, Kiffin and Dan
Now I don't mind eating wood
and I don't care that my teeth are no good
You pay who you can and demean the rest but they should never have show caused the very best
The night they drove ole Dixie down and the cowbells were ringing
The night they drove ole Dixie down and all the rebels were screaming
Nooo Noo no no no no no no no no no no no no no
Like Eddie O before me, I'll recruit the land
Like Ole Johnny above me, I'll make my rebel stand.
They are just eighteen, payed and framed
But a bulldog laid them in the their grave
And I swear by the NOA's below my feet
You can't beat ole Rosebowl back when he's got the heat
The night they drove ole Dixie down and the cowbells were ringing.
The night they drove ole Dixie down and the rebels were screaming.
Nooo noo no no no no no no no no no no no no no.
